| Play Attention, Please! |
|
The students of Cathedral and John Connon Senior School put up Alibaba and the Forty Thieves in December 2009.
It was a comic take on the old tale and kept the audience in splits. And since the cast was mammoth, rehearsals were both - sheer chaos and sheer fun. Fifty to sixty students rallied round, staying late, working overtime and giving the play the life and colour it needed to be a success. The result was, well... dramatic!
