The children of 3G worked on the project with a lot of enthusiasm and co-operation .They researched the topics given to them with interest and gathered a lot of information.
Learning intensive in its planning, The project included research on the famous people of Mumbai from different walks of life; ancient and original inhabitants and those who made Mumbai their home; history of the city - the seven islands and their reclamation; how Mumbai got its name and the time line of the city.
The display was put together with the children creating informative charts, compiling write ups about their visits/field trips, power point presentations and making models in class.
Children were put into groups. Each group visited a place of historic value and shared their experience with the whole class on return. Talks were also conducted by some important people from different walks of life.
