Location : The Cathedral and John Connon School – Senior School Bldg.
Duration : 8 sessions (on Fridays) throughout March and April.
Members of : Std VIII
A workshop to create awareness of the environment was conducted by Mrs. Tina Abraham and Ms. Lata Warrior. A large number of students learned how to make puppets on their own.
50 members of the Nature Club got the opportunity to attend a workshop conducted by Mr. Rohinton Mehta, Technical Editor of ‘Smart Photography’. Useful tips on photography were given to the students. |

Photography Workshop: |

Photography workshop was organised for the students of std IX by Akash Karmakar, the secretary of Nature Club.
Many creative snapshots were collected from the amateur photographers and the best two were submitted for Sanctuary Magazine’s “climate change” theme competition. |

Vermiculture Workshop: |

The students of std XI attended an informative workshop at the Prince of Wales Museum.
It was organized by the Times of India in association with Street Blimps. |

Poster Making Competition: |

The students of std. IX participated in a poster making competition held by the IFAW(International Fund for Animal Welfare) and the Wildlife Trust of India. The theme was ‘Protecting Marine Wildlife’. |

Charts For Bulletin Boards: |

The students of std. X made several charts on environmental issues for the school bulletin boards. They also participated in a quiz conducted by students of std. XII |
